My 'Walk-on' scene in Wayne's World (1), courtesy of my friend, director Penelope Spheeris, who also shot me in 'Decline of Western Civilization; The Metal Years. This was completely unexpected and I never saw it coming. We just cut filming a different scene, and as we all walked away and cleared the floor, I heard Penelope calling for me over the bullhorn loudseaker:RIK FOX! I NEED YOU OVER HERE! RIK FOX! I NEED YOU HERE TO ME! I thought 'uh-oh, what did I do now?' Everyone's looking at me thinking the same thing. I go over to Penelope and she says: 'Good, I'm going to put you in this scene with Dana (Carvey), she introduces me to him and says to us here's what I need you to do...and explains the break down of the upcoming 'fight-encounter scene' And that's how I got my 'walk-on' scene in Wayne's World.
